Who it's for

The Newton 114/1000 is the ideal instrument for children and beginners looking to approach astronomy with the support of motorised tracking. It gathers almost 30% more light than the classic 114mm models with a shorter focal length, delivering good image quality up to around 228x for observing the Moon, planets and the brightest deep-sky objects. The right ascension tracking motor allows automatic tracking of celestial objects, after polar alignment.
