Vai al moduloThe Sky-Watcher SynCam 585C is a color CMOS astronomical camera designed for advanced amateur astrophotography. It features the IMX585 sensor with 2.9 μm square pixels and an 8-megapixel resolution, delivering high-definition images with excellent noise control.
Thanks to its extremely low read noise and glow-free sensor design, the SynCam 585C is suitable for planetary, lunar, and solar imaging, and can also be effectively used for amateur-level deep-sky astrophotography of nebulae and galaxies.
When connected to an astronomical telescope, the SynCam 585C enables high-resolution imaging of the Moon and planets. By using the stacking technique, video sequences can be processed with dedicated software to combine hundreds of individual frames into detailed, low-noise final images.
The sensor’s high sensitivity also makes this camera suitable for imaging objects beyond the Solar System. With compatible software, users can take advantage of live stacking, allowing the image to build up progressively on the PC monitor in real time as exposure time increases.
The Sky-Watcher SynCam 585C is fully compatible with the software ecosystem of ToupTek Astronomy Inc. and is supported by a wide range of astrophotography acquisition and control applications.
