The Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ6 SynScan is an advanced equatorial-alt-azimuth mount designed for superior precision, stability, and versatility. Perfect for both astrophotography and visual observation, it can carry two telescopes simultaneously and switch between equatorial and alt-azimuth configurations in just minutes.
Equipped with the GoTo SynScan system, the AZ-EQ6 features dual encoders and hybrid microstep stepper motors with a belt drive for quiet and accurate tracking. The SynScan controller provides access to a database of over 42,900 celestial objects, including planets, nebulae, galaxies, and double stars, all easily accessible through the intuitive SynScan V4 hand controller.
The mount head is 26% lighter than the classic EQ6, weighing only 15 kg, while offering increased rigidity and improved altitude adjustment. With a payload capacity of up to 25 kg (20 kg for astrophotography), the AZ-EQ6 ensures outstanding stability and precision for long-exposure imaging.
