The SkyWatcher Capricorn 70 EQ1 is an achromatic refractor telescope ideal for beginners who want an equatorial mount right from the start. With a 70 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length (f/12.8), it delivers sharp, high-contrast images of the Moon, planets and the brightest deep-sky objects. The EQ-1 equatorial mount compensates for Earth’s rotation and allows easy tracking of celestial objects, with the option to add the AO5000 motor drive (optional).
The height-adjustable aluminium tripod ensures stability in the field, while the complete set of Super eyepieces, 2× Barlow lens and 90° mirror diagonal makes it ready to observe from the very first evening.
