With 250 mm of aperture and a solid wooden Dobson base, it is a semi-professional instrument for advanced visual observation of planets, the Moon and deep-sky objects. The closed tube protects the optics from dust and air currents, keeping collimation stable throughout every session.
The Pyrex primary mirror provides superior dimensional stability and minimises thermal deformations during the night.
