The integrated SynScan Go-To system offers a database of over 42,000 celestial objects, 2- or 3-star alignment, and PAE accuracy improvement. The fine slow-motion controls on both axes combined with high-resolution servo motors ensure smooth and accurate tracking, even during long-exposure imaging.
The package includes a 220V AC power supply with European plug, a precise polar scope, and a SynScan hand controller with upgradeable firmware. Via the RS232 interface, the EQ5 is also fully compatible with EQMOD, a widely used PC control system for astrophotography.
