The SkyWatcher EQ5 SynScan Go-To is a robust and precise equatorial mount designed for both visual astronomy and astrophotography. Its solid stainless-steel tripod and 10 kg payload capacity make it ideal for medium-sized Newtonians, refractors and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.
The integrated SynScan Go-To system offers a database of over 42,000 celestial objects, 2- or 3-star alignment, and PAE accuracy improvement. The fine slow-motion controls on both axes combined with high-resolution servo motors ensure smooth and accurate tracking, even during long-exposure imaging.
The package includes a 220V AC power supply with European plug, a precise polar scope, and a SynScan hand controller with upgradeable firmware. Via the RS232 interface, the EQ5 is also fully compatible with EQMOD, a widely used PC control system for astrophotography.
The adjustable stainless-steel tripod (80–130 cm) guarantees excellent stability in all observing conditions.
