Vai al modulo120mm Apochromatic Triplet Refractor for Advanced Astrophotography
The SkyWatcher Esprit 120EDX APO is a premium 120mm apochromatic triplet refractor featuring an 840mm focal length (f/7). Designed for demanding astrophotographers and serious visual observers, it delivers exceptional optical performance combined with robust mechanical construction.
Part of the renowned Esprit EDX Super APO series, this telescope incorporates an air-spaced ED triplet optical design using high-grade Ohara FPL-53 glass to ensure outstanding color correction, contrast, and sharpness.
ED Triplet Optics with Ohara FPL-53 Glass
The f/7 optical system uses Japanese Ohara FPL-53 ED glass, known for its extremely low dispersion properties. All air-to-glass surfaces feature Sky-Watcher’s Metallic High-Transmission Coating (MHTC), achieving up to 99.5% light transmission.
This results in:
- Bright, high-contrast images
- Excellent color fidelity
- Pinpoint stars without chromatic aberration
Optimized for Astrophotography
The f/7 focal ratio offers an ideal balance between imaging speed and optical correction. The telescope is compatible with an optional 0.77X field flattener/reducer with M48 photographic connection, ensuring a flat field even when using full-frame sensors.
Its solid mechanical structure allows the use of heavy imaging equipment, filter wheels, and advanced astrophotography accessories without flexure.
Professional 3” Dual-Speed Focuser
The precision-engineered 3” rotatable dual-speed focuser with 1:11 fine reduction provides smooth and stable focusing, even under heavy loads.
- CNC-machined construction
- High load capacity
- Integrated focus scale
- Rotatable design
- 50.8mm / 31.8mm adapters included
The large 3” diameter improves illumination and minimizes vignetting compared to standard focusers.
Premium Construction and Transport Protection
The retractable dew shield reduces storage length for transport. A practical carrying handle integrated with the tube rings ensures safe and ergonomic handling.
A custom-fit rigid aluminum carrying case is included for maximum protection during transport.
