Vai al moduloThe SkyWatcher Evoguide 50ED DX is a high-quality guide scope with ED (Extra-low Dispersion) optics, 50 mm aperture and 242 mm focal length (f/4.8). Thanks to the new Vixen and mini-Vixen shoe, it integrates easily with most mounts and finder scope brackets. The 31.8 mm helical focuser with T2 thread allows use both as a finder and as a guide scope, compatible with guide cameras, imaging cameras and 31.8 mm eyepieces. It can also be used as a compact mini wide-field telescope for large-field observation.
ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses dramatically reduce chromatic aberration compared to conventional achromatic refractors, producing more precise, point-like guide stars. The helical focuser guarantees fine focusing without camera rotation – essential for autoguiding software such as PHD2. The collimatable rings with Teflon-tipped screws allow fine alignment adjustment onto the main optical axis.
