The SkyWatcher Evostar 120/1000 is an achromatic doublet refractor tube with 120 mm aperture and 1000 mm focal length (f/8.3). The combination of good aperture and long focal length makes it a versatile refractor for visual observation of the Moon, planets and deep sky. The high-quality Crayford focuser 50.8 mm and low weight (6.4 kg) allow use on EQ3-2 or EQ5 mounts.
Performance: 120 mm Long Focal Length
With 120 mm aperture and 1000 mm focal length (f/8.3), the Evostar 120/1000 reaches up to 240×. Suitable for:
- Planets: cloud belts on Jupiter, Cassini Division, high-resolution lunar craters
- Deep sky: open and globular clusters, planetary nebulae, main Messier galaxies
- Daytime observation: excellent for terrestrial use with diagonal
The Crayford focuser 50.8 mm / 31.8 mm provides precise, backlash-free focusing. Included: 2″ LET 28 mm eyepiece (35×), 90° mirror diagonal 50.8 mm with 31.8 mm adapter, 9×50 finder.
