The Sky-Watcher HAC125 DX optical tube is a high-performance astrograph designed specifically for deep-sky astrophotography with astronomical cameras. Featuring the innovative Honders Advanced Catadioptric optical system, it combines a 125mm aperture and 250mm focal length in a compact, fast design with a f/2 focal ratio.
This professional-grade instrument offers a corrected image circle over 16mm and exceptional image quality, thanks to RAQ™ and HTMC™ optical coatings delivering 94% reflectivity and high contrast. Perfect for capturing galaxies, nebulae, and star fields—even without autoguiding—its fast f/2 ratio allows exposures up to 10 times shorter than typical f/6.3 telescopes.
The rear focusing system operates by shifting the primary mirror, ensuring precision and stability. Optimized for IMX533 and IMX585 sensors, it is also compatible with 1.25" and M42x0.75 camera adapters.
The removable dew shield also functions as an anti-dew collar. The tube includes a Vixen/CG5 dovetail bar, support rings, and a Mini Vixen finder shoe.
