The SkyWatcher Maksutov-Cassegrain 90/1250 CQ40 is a compact catadioptric telescope with a 90 mm aperture and 1250 mm focal length (f/14), mounted on the robust equatorial CQ40 mount. The Maksutov-Cassegrain design delivers sharp, aberration-free images — free of chromatic and spherical aberration thanks to the Mak corrector — making it the ideal instrument for high-resolution observations of Solar System objects, double stars and the Moon. Its compact size makes it particularly easy to transport.
The Sky-Watcher CQ40 equatorial mount has a payload capacity of 4 kg at a weight of just 1 kg, with a latitude adjustment range of 0° to 72° and an efficient worm-and-wheel drive system. The adjustable aluminium tripod with accessory tray completes the package.
