The Sky-Watcher Newton Quattro 250/1000 f/4 optical tube is a reflector with a 250mm aperture and 1000mm focal length, designed for astrophotography thanks to the fast f/4 focal ratio. It captures wide-field images of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters with significantly shorter exposure times compared to instruments with longer focal lengths.
Fast optics for deep-sky
Thanks to the f/4 focal ratio, this instrument is extremely fast, allowing you to capture the faintest details of deep-sky objects. While designed for photography, it also performs well visually, particularly for observing galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. It's compact but heavy and robust: requires EQ6-R or AZ-EQ6-class mounts or higher.
Dual-speed focuser and Vixen/EQ5 dovetail
The dual-speed Crayford focuser, with 50.8mm eyepiece holder and 31.8mm reducer, offers fine, precise focusing, essential in astrophotography. The rings with Vixen-style dovetail bar (EQ5) ensure a stable fit to the mount.
