Newtonians have always been the best-selling reflector telescopes as they combine a large diameter with a low price. The Newton Quattro 200/800 f/4 from Sky-Watcher is a 200mm diameter, 800mm focal length telescope that is particularly suitable for photographic use thanks to its fast f/4 focal ratio and compatibility with the optional AO-SUPERCOMACORR coma corrector.
This instrument is very bright and allows you to record the faintest details of faint objects, but it can also be used visually, especially for observing galaxies, nebulae, or star clusters. Newtonian Quattros are the best instruments for observing or photographing faint objects, at a very low cost. They were designed for deep-sky photography but are also very suitable for observing both faint objects and planetary systems. Lightweight and compact, despite appearances, they can be used on EQ5-type mounts, but for photographic use we recommend at least an HEQ5.
