The Sky-Watcher Super Plössl Advanced 32 mm is an eyepiece designed to deliver sharp, high-contrast and well-corrected visual performance. Its proven 4-element Plössl optical design ensures balanced image quality while effectively minimizing common optical aberrations.
4-element Plössl optical design
This eyepiece features a classic Plössl configuration with four lenses and blackened lens edges, reducing internal reflections and improving perceived contrast. The optical layout is optimized to minimize spherical aberration, distortion and astigmatism, providing clean and well-defined images across the entire field of view.
Apparent field of view and viewing comfort
With a 52° apparent field of view, the Super Plössl Advanced 32 mm offers a natural and comfortable observing experience, suitable for both extended deep-sky objects and prolonged observation sessions. The rubber eyecup improves viewing comfort and helps block stray light.
Mechanical construction and compatibility
The 31.8 mm (1.25") barrel is made of anodized aluminum and is compatible with the vast majority of amateur telescopes. An internal filter thread allows the use of standard 1.25" astronomical filters, enhancing versatility during visual observations.
