Vai al modulo4-Element Plössl Eyepiece for High-Contrast Observation
The SkyWatcher Super Plössl Advanced 17mm is a classic 4-element Plössl eyepiece designed to deliver high-contrast images with accurate optical correction across the entire field of view. The time-tested design with blackened lens edges minimises internal reflections, eliminates ghosting and preserves image purity during observing sessions. The series is specifically engineered to reduce spherical aberration, distortion and astigmatism to a minimum, ensuring sharp and faithful images even at the edges of the field.
With a focal length of 17mm and an apparent field of view of 52°, this eyepiece sits in the low-magnification range, making it ideal for observing deep-sky objects, nebulae and star clusters, as well as for sky orientation and object-finding sessions. The multi-layer coating maximises light transmission, making the eyepiece effective even under low-light conditions. The filter-threaded 31.8mm barrel allows direct mounting of standard astronomy filters without additional adapters. The rubber eyecup ensures comfortable extended use for all observers.
