Vai al moduloDual-Function Solar Telescope H-Alpha and White Light
The Acuter Luma-X 40 ED is an ED solar refractor designed for solar observation in the H-alpha band and in white light in a single instrument. Thanks to the 40mm front-mounted Etalon with a bandwidth of 0.6 Ångströms or better, it enables safe observation and photography of the most dynamic details of our star: solar prominences, solar flares, spicules, surface granulation and sunspots.
Switching from H-alpha to white light mode is achieved with a simple movement of the Dual Switch diagonal, without dismounting or replacing any components. The 40mm ED doublet with anti-reflection coating guarantees sharp, high-contrast images with a focal ratio of f/6.25 and a focal length of 250mm. Due to the limited availability of this item, it is recommended to check availability before placing an order.
H-Alpha Solar Observation: Prominences, Flares and Chromospheric Details
In H-alpha mode, the Acuter Luma-X 40 ED allows observation of the solar chromosphere with exceptional spectral resolution. The 0.6 Ångström bandwidth precisely isolates the H-alpha line at 656.28nm, revealing structures otherwise invisible in white light. It is an instrument suited both to the amateur astronomer approaching solar astrophotography and to the experienced observer wishing to monitor solar activity in real time.
Smartphone Adapter and Educational Use
The Luma-X 40 ED is supplied with a universal smartphone adapter that allows the Sun to be photographed directly through the eyepiece, creating a photographic record of observing sessions. Thanks to its inherent operational safety, the telescope is also suitable for school educational use, enabling group solar observations without any risk to students.
