The ToupTek 455C Pro CMOS Color is the color version of the acclaimed 455 series, based on the Sony IMX455 full-frame back-illuminated sensor. It offers exceptional sensitivity even in low-light conditions, a wide field of view, and high detail, ideal for capturing large portions of deep sky while maintaining definition at the sensor's limits.
Sony IMX455 – 61.2MP Full Frame Color
Full-frame sensor with a diagonal of 43.3 mm, native resolution of 9600 × 6400 pixels (61.2 MP) and 3.76 μm pixels. With this sensor you can photograph an entire galaxy cluster while showing the details of individual galaxies at the same time.
Native 16-bit ADC
Native 16-bit ADC for a real dynamic range, guaranteeing smoother and more natural color transitions.
Dual-Stage TEC Cooling
Peltier cooling up to -40°C below ambient temperature, drastically reducing thermal noise during long exposures.
Full Well Capacity and Read Noise
Real Full Well Capacity of 51,000e-, with read noise as low as 1.14e- in low-noise mode and a dynamic range of 86.8dB.
USB 3.0 Connectivity and Integrated USB Hub
USB 3.0 connection for fast download of high-resolution frames (11 fps at full resolution), with an integrated dual-port USB 2.0 hub and 512MB DDR3 buffer.
Compatibility and Backfocus Management
Native backfocus of 17.5 mm, easily extended to 55mm using the supplied 21mm (T2) and 16.5mm (M48) spacers. Connects via T2 thread (M42x0.75).
