This low profile adaptor enables the connection of T2 accessories to adaptors with M48x0,75 male thread.

TS-Optics Low Profile Adaptor from M48 filter thread to T2
This adaptor is a typical "problem solver", if you want to reduce from M48 to T2. In specific, it reduces a M48x0,75 male thread to a T2 (M42x0,75) male thread.
What makes this adaptor special is its low profile. Its optical length (not counting the male thread) is only 3,5mm. This results in a very short M48 female thread (2,5mm), which should be taken into consideration when planing the adaptation of your image train.
A special combination using our M48 extension tube TSVF230 (pls see photo)
Connecting the TSM48-T2 adaptor with the TSVF230 extension tube gives you a Focal Adaptor from 2" to T2 without safety groove.
The Focal Adaptor´s optical length is 0 !! Millimeters because it slots in entirely. It won´t get any shorter.
If the TSVF215 is used instead of the TSVF230, the thread will rotate. If you insert an M48ABSTIMMA1 in between, this will be avoided. However, the TSM48-T2 can then no longer be pushed into the 2" receptacle because the tuning ring acts as a stop.
