- Corrector (knurled ring facing the telescope).
- Red spacer ring (included).
- Transition adapter to M48 thread.
Connecting to the Camera
The TS-Optics Flattener 1.0x offers two options for camera connection:
- M63x1 thread (female):
- 85 mm working distance, sufficient for accessories such as filter wheels, off-axis guiders, and more.
- M48x0.75 thread (male):
- Exact working distance of 55 mm, ideal for DSLR cameras (with T-ring) and astro cameras.
Compatibility with Telescopes
The Flattener 1.0x is compatible with:
- ED and APO Refractors:
- Focal lengths over 700 mm: 55 mm working distance from the M48 thread.
- Focal lengths between 600 mm and 700 mm: working distance increases by 5 mm.
- Focal lengths between 480 mm and 600 mm: working distance increases by 10 mm.
- For shorter focal lengths, a different corrector is recommended.
- RC Telescopes:
- Apertures of 10" or more.
