Sky-Watcher developed the 3-element apochromatic triplet line to offer telescopes with unique characteristics compared to equivalent products. The ESPRIT Super APO triplets are designed for the most demanding astroimagers, but are equally ideal for visual observations, delivering images of exceptional chromatic correction and definition even on the most challenging subjects. The quality of these refractors is not only optical but also mechanical, matching the performance of the best apochromatic refractors on the market.

The 2.7″ LPF focuser with 1:11 reduction ratio offers high load capacity combined with excellent rigidity under heavy loads. Thanks to its generous diameter it provides better illumination than a standard 2″ focuser. It supports up to 4 kg, is rotatable and, thanks to its new design (metal sliding rails and oversized ball bearings), allows smooth, backlash-free focusing. Adapters for 50.8 mm and 31.8 mm eyepieces are included.

Also included is an excellent corrector/field flattener with M48 photographic adapter for a perfectly flat field even on Full Frame sensors.

Supplied with a 2″ dielectric diagonal with multi-layer coating for 99% effective reflectivity (standard diagonals typically reflect around 90% of incident light). Includes 2″-1.25″ adapter with self-centring ring, threaded for 2″ filters. Completed by a 9×50 90° finder with dual rings and a purpose-built hard carry case.
