Vai al moduloThe ZWO dew shield is specially designed to prevent condensation from forming on the optical window of Peltier-cooled ASI cameras.
This kit includes the condensation shield, a Y-power cable, and two cable ties.
The dew shield requires a 12V 0.35A power supply, however it is possible to power it directly from the recording camera.
The anti-condensation band is recommended for cooled ASI chambers, it cannot be mounted on the ASI071, ASI128, ASI094 models.
How do you assemble it?
Mounting the anti-condensation strip on your room is very simple, just follow these simple steps.
1) Remove the protection from the adhesive tape
2) Adhere the anti-condensation band to your room, taking into account to align the power cable correctly as shown in the figure
3) Use the supplied cable tie to tie the power cord to your camera as shown in the figure.
4) Insert the Y-shaped power cable into your room, then connect the anti-condensation band as shown in the figure
5) Done! Now power everything up and dedicate yourself to your astrophotography shots in peace!
