The ZWO ASI678MM is a next-generation monochrome camera with the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor, designed for high-resolution planetary and solar imaging. It delivers maximum efficiency, low thermal noise, and impeccable image quality on high-contrast subjects.
With 2 μm pixels, 8.29 MP (3840×2160), 1/1.8" format, and an 8.56 mm diagonal, it provides perfect sampling for lucky imaging of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and solar H-alpha detail. The STARVIS 2 sensor is three times more efficient than the ASI178MC with significantly lower dark current.
