Outstanding performance in solar and lunar astrophotography. The ZWO ASI174MM is a monochrome planetary camera featuring the popular Sony IMX174 CMOS sensor (1/1.2"). With its large 5.86µm pixels and quantum efficiency up to 85%, it offers exceptional sensitivity to capture fine details of the lunar surface and solar activity.
Also ideal as a guiding camera, the ASI174MM comes equipped with a USB 3.0 port for ultra-fast data transfer — up to 128 fps at 12-bit and 164 fps at 10-bit — avoiding frame loss during capture.
Compared to earlier ASI models (such as the ASI224 or ASI178), this camera uses a next-generation Sony Exmor sensor that significantly improves sensitivity and noise performance.
Also available in the ASI174MM-C cooled version with dual-stage Peltier cooling for long exposure sessions.
