Outstanding performance in solar and lunar astrophotography. The ZWO ASI174MM is a monochrome planetary camera equipped with the Sony IMX174 CMOS 1/1.2" sensor. Thanks to its 5.86 µm pixels and a quantum efficiency of up to 85%, it captures the finest details of the lunar surface and solar activity with superior sensitivity.
Also perfect as a guide camera, it features a USB 3.0 interface for ultra-fast transfers up to 128 fps at 12-bit and 164 fps at 10-bit. It integrates the next-generation Sony Exmor sensor for better sensitivity and noise performance than earlier models (ASI224, ASI178).

Reduced Back Focus
By removing the 11 mm T2 ring, the back focus drops to just 6.5 mm – ideal for compact setups.
The ZWO ASI174MM is also available as the cooled ASI174MM-C with a two-stage Peltier module. Certified solar filters (Herschel or H-alpha) are mandatory for solar observations.
