The ZWO ASI2600MM DUO is the world’s first monochrome astronomy camera to combine the Sony Exmor IMX571 APS-C 26MP 16-bit sensor with an integrated SSC2210 guiding sensor, providing a complete deep-sky imaging solution without the need for external guide scopes.
With 3.76 μm pixels and a large active area of 23.5 × 15.7 mm, it delivers extremely detailed images and a generous field of view—ideal for nebulae, star clusters and distant galaxies. The IMX571 ensures excellent low-light performance (SNR1s: 0.14 lx), high quantum efficiency (QE >80%) and very low read noise (1.0e – 3.3e). True 16-bit ADC provides a wide dynamic range, while the 50,000e Full Well Capacity (expandable to 73,000e) prevents star saturation during long exposures.
TEC Cooling and Anti-Dew Protection
The dual-stage TEC cooling system reduces the sensor temperature by up to -35°C below ambient, dramatically lowering thermal noise. An integrated anti-dew system and AR-coated optical window ensure clear, artifact-free imaging even in challenging conditions.
Performance and Design
The internal 512MB DDR4 buffer prevents frame loss during high-speed transfers via USB 3.0/2.0. Its compact 0.7 kg body with 17.5 mm backfocus integrates easily into a wide range of astrophotography setups.
