Vai al moduloZWO ASI294MC Color – Sony IMX294 CMOS Camera for Deep Sky, Moon and Planets
The ZWO ASI294MC was the first camera equipped with the Sony IMX294CJK sensor, designed for every form of astrophotography. The back-illuminated CMOS sensor ensures high sensitivity and thus short exposure times: about 30 seconds with subsequent stacking is enough to capture nebulae and galaxies, without active cooling.
For lunar and planetary photography, the extremely short exposure times "freeze" atmospheric turbulence, while the sensor's high resolution allows detailed images even with shorter focal lengths. Also suited to video astronomy. Note: the color sensor's Bayer matrix produces artifacts in the H-alpha band, so this camera isn't the ideal choice for narrowband imaging.
