Vai al moduloThe ZWO ASI294MM Pro is the cooled monochrome version of the ASI294MC Pro, built around the back-illuminated Sony IMX492 4/3″ sensor. With a peak QE of around 90% it is especially effective for LRGB and narrowband imaging (Hα, OIII, SII) of nebulae and galaxies.
Two resolution modes
By default the camera works in Bin2 mode: 11.7 MP (4144 × 2822) with 4.63 µm pixels, a 14-bit ADC and a full well of about 63.7 ke⁻. From the capture software you can unlock Bin1 mode, which raises the resolution to 47 MP (8288 × 5644) with 2.3 µm pixels, a 12-bit ADC and a full well of about 14 ke⁻, useful with long focal lengths and good seeing.
Cooling and data transfer
Two-stage TEC cooling reaches about 35 °C below ambient temperature (measured at 30 °C) and reduces dark current in long exposures, with read noise down to 1.2 e⁻. The 256 MB DDR3 buffer, USB 3.0 port and built-in USB 2.0 hub let you connect a filter wheel and a guide camera with a single cable to the computer.
