The ZWO ASI533MM is a next-generation mono astronomy camera based on the square Sony IMX533 sensor, highly valued by the astrophotography community. The fast sensor is suited not only to nebulae, star clusters and galaxies, but also to the Sun, Moon, planets and EAA.
This is the non-cooled version of this sensor: a particularly interesting choice for those looking for a lightweight, versatile and affordable camera. Despite the lack of active cooling, images remain relatively low-noise, making this camera suitable for both lunar/planetary photography and deep sky.
