Vai al moduloZWO ASI533MM Pro Mono – Cooled Sony IMX533 Camera with Square Sensor
The ZWO ASI533MM Pro is the cooled version of the successful 533 series, based on the square Sony IMX533 sensor. The square format makes optimal use of the telescope's corrected field, in many cases allowing operation even without a field flattener. Thanks to back-illumination technology, the camera reaches a quantum efficiency of around 80%, making it particularly well suited to deep-sky astrophotography.
The two-stage Peltier cooling keeps the sensor up to 35°C below ambient temperature, further reducing the already low noise. Increasing the gain also allows exposure times under 30 seconds, limiting the effects of imperfect tracking. The short exposure times are also useful for lunar and planetary photography, where they freeze atmospheric turbulence.
Key Features
- Square Sony IMX533 CMOS sensor, back-illuminated, monochrome
- Peak quantum efficiency around 80%
- Peltier cooling down to -35°C relative to ambient
- DDR3 memory buffer for stable data transfer even over USB 2.0
- 14-bit ADC, for image depth comparable to CCD cameras
- Optimized camera body, robust even in high humidity
