The ZWO ASI715MC is a high-sensitivity color CMOS camera featuring the Sony IMX715 STARVIS sensor in a 1/2.8" format with a resolution of 8.46 megapixels. With an extremely low read noise of 0.72e and ultra-high sensitivity, it is ideal for high-resolution planetary imaging, microscopy applications, and all-sky photography.
The 1.45 μm pixels in the 1/2.8" format allow short focal lengths to be used for high-resolution planetary or solar imaging. The camera ships with a 2.1 mm Fish Eye lens for wide-field sky photography — ideal for meteor showers and atmospheric monitoring.
