The ZWO TC40 is a lightweight, sturdy carbon fiber tripod designed to provide maximum stability with the ZWO AM3, AM5 and AM7 Harmonic Drive mounts, as well as with many compatible mounts, including the iOptron GEM45, GEM40, Rainbow Astro 135E and SkyWatcher AZ-GTi. Thanks to its carbon construction and high load capacity, it is ideal for astrophotography and high-performance visual observing.
The tripod includes a weight bag that increases stability by lowering the center of gravity, which is especially useful with longer telescopes or in windy conditions. The compact design and two-section structure make it easy to carry and quick to set up.
