IDAS

IDAS is the Japanese brand of ICAS Enterprises dedicated to manufacturing optical filters for astrophotography since 2001. Born as the optics division of a company active since 1999, IDAS is today an international reference for light pollution suppression and narrowband filters, distributed worldwide through authorized dealers.

The range includes Light Pollution Suppression (LPS) filters, narrowband filters (such as NBZ, NB1, NB12, DTD, GNB, HEUIB-II) and UV/IR Cut filters, designed to enhance the contrast of nebulae and galaxies by reducing light pollution and unwanted light components, for both visual observation and astronomical imaging.
